Rams Committed To Keeping Sam Bradford

Oct 31, 2014 2:16 PM

The St. Louis Rams are committed to keeping Sam Bradford as their franchise quarterback.

The Rams again own the second overall pick two years after they could have drafted Robert Griffin III.

Bradford's season was cut short due to a torn ACL.

The Rams are interested in trading down if a deal comes along similar to what they received in 2012 from the Washington Redskins.

"Boy, that would be [great]," Les Snead said. "You never know through this process what other teams are thinking and who they really like. And then you've got to go through the interview process. And if it's one to two to three QBs, and those guys went in interviews and all of a sudden, maybe so.

"When you've been on a team that's looking for a QB, you're going to at all costs try to go get that QB. I mean there's a possibility."

Chris Johnson Interested In Moving On From Titans

Sep 25, 2014 3:14 AM

Chris Johnson's future with the Tennessee Titans is unclear entering the offseason.

"I feel like if they are not going to use me the way I am supposed to be used and let me be the horse, then I would rather them let me move on. Their money would be wasted on me," Johnson told The Tennessean. "I feel like if they are not going to use me right, let somebody get me that's going to use me the right way."

Johnson rushed for 1,077 yards in 2013.

Johnson is scheduled to make $8 million in 2014.

"I want to help the team win," Johnson said. "People say, 'He is not worth the $10 million. He is not worth the $8 million.' I feel like if you give me $8 million, let me earn it. At crucial times of the game, I shouldn't be on the sideline watching."
